The Opportunity

As a Sales & Customer Support Representative, you'll be the bridge between our customers, sales team, and operations. You'll ensure a seamless customer experience from the first quotation through order delivery and beyond. This is a dynamic role where you'll combine problem-solving, communication, organizational skills, and critical thinking to make sure our customers are supported every step of the way.

Customer Quotations & Sales Support

Work directly with customers, agents, distributors, and sales reps to understand requirements and prepare accurate quotations.

Coordinate with internal teams to confirm product options, pricing, and lead times.

Provide timely, helpful responses to customer inquiries and support outside sales with information, samples, and materials.

Order Processing & Fulfillment

Review purchase orders and enter them into the system with accuracy.

Track and communicate order status and shipping schedules.

Work with engineering and operations to make sure technical details (like drawings or material lists) are in place.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

Build strong, positive relationships by being responsive, proactive, and solutions focused.

Serve as a key contact for resolving questions or issues, offering both technical assistance and clear communication.

Maintain accurate customer information in our systems and keep them updated with any changes.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Partner with colleagues across sales, operations, and engineering to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.

Participate in team discussions, share ideas, and contribute to improving processes and systems.

Represent RS with professionalism, supporting our culture of teamwork and respect.

What You Bring

A university degree or college diploma is preferred.

3+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or order administration (manufacturing or technical industry experience is a plus).

Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook.

Experience with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Epicor, Salesforce) is an asset.

Experience with reading drawings in both metric and imperial units.

Industry knowledge in utilities or telecommunications is a plus.

Proficiency in a second language is considered an advantage.

Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
