We are searching for a Dining Room Supervisor to join our Parkland Ancaster team based in Ancaster, Ontario.

About the Opportunity
Provides leadership and oversight to all dining room activities to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and applicable legislationOutlines work assignmentsSupervises, directs, and evaluates the work of the teamAssists int the full recruitment process for new members of the teamEnsures new team members are orientated and trained on all departmental standardsPrepares, and monitors, plan to ensure employees are meeting standards for mandatory annual educationProvides ongoing training and educationManages the professional development of the teamIn consultation with Human Resources Department, manages team member issuesMonitors and manages performance and provides coachingCompletes performance and development discussions for team membersEnsures disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to company policyHolds regular departmental meetings and team talksReviews work schedules to identify any concerns with staffing levelsTakes every reasonable precaution in all circumstances to ensure the health and safety of team members and all others in the workplace, including but not limited to, providing supervision, training, information, and equipment needed for employees to do their job safelyPerforms other related duties as requiredAbout You
