Looking to design a practice around your lifestyle and financial goals while enjoying rural life? The clinic offers flexible work options with a great work-life balance, and is seeking a full or part-time Family Practitioner to join their group of six multinational doctors, a practice nurse, PCN nurse / social worker, and a highly organized group of friendly office staff.

CLINIC DETAILS

• Physicians and staff use the Profile EMR system by Intrahealth.
• The clinic has an effective in-house biller to ensure we are not undervaluing ourselves.
• We are supported by a dedicated Clinic Manager.
• We have in-house access to a PCN, RN, and Social Worker.
• Current Physicians have a great dynamic in the clinic and welcome and support all new colleagues.
• The practice has an established base of patients with room for growth.

Work in the local emergency room urgent care centre is mandatory and has approximately a one-in-ten rotation. On-call hours are 8AM to 8PM with no night call. Obstetric practice with intra-partum care is available (two of our clinic physicians deliver in the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail). No care for hospital in-patients is required, but taking part in the local hospitalist rotation can be applied for.

Compensation

Compensation Type : Fee-for-Service

Estimated Remuneration : $380,000 - $400,000

Physician Overhead : 30% office, 15% ER

Billing Split : 30 / 70 office, 15 / 85 ER

Benefits and Incentives

Vacation Leave : 8 weeks

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including :

Retention Premium : 11.90%

Retention Flat Fee : $18,059

Relocation Funding Available : $9,000 - $15,000

Recruitment Incentive : $15,000.00 based on full-time.
