Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a talented, motivated individual focused on customer service to join our team. This is an excellent position for individuals interested in developing their accounting and tax skills. This position allows for exposure to a diverse client base that spans across many different industries. There may be the opportunity to work minimal hours during the summer months if desired.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Review the tax filings (including T1, T2, T3 and T5013 returns) prepared by staff to ensure all tax related matters have been adequately addressed.
• Offer tax planning services to clients.
• Research tax issues and prepare memoranda.
• Identify client service opportunities.
• Participate in special engagements
• Enhancing existing and developing new community relationships and networks.
• Manage staff in the tax group and provide daily guidance, coaching and developing their tax knowledge.
• Supporting and mentoring firm staff in respect of tax matters.
• Preparing and presenting technical sessions for staff.
