Job Duties- The candidate must perform the following duties : - Coordinate, assign, and supervise workers involved in shipping, receiving, storing materials, dispatching crews and scheduling transportation routes. Plan, organize and oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely movement of goods. Prepare work schedules for forklift operators and warehouse staff Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies are met. Load, unload, move and store materials manually or using forklifts, industrial trucks, conveyors, winches and other material-handling equipment when required. Train workers in job duties, safe equipment operation and forklift operation, warehouse procedures and company policies and resolve work-related or operational issues. Ensure smooth operation of warehouse equipment and machinery, arrange maintenance and repairs and requisition supplies and materials as needed. Prepare and submit progress, inventory and operational reports to support management and continuous improvement. Job requirements- Secondary education is required.
