About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager for our Ottawa based client. The position is a remote 10-month contract role with a leader in the healthcare sector. Our client offers an excellent work environment as well as work / life balance.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in project management in IT
- Minimum two (2) years' leadership experience
- Strong experience of managing strategic projects, championing change and adaptability to changing environment
- Understanding of program planning principles, design development process and operational readiness principles
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and to manage client relationships and expectations
- Ability to implement, facilitate, lead change, and to propose process improvements and value-added initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, combined with excellent organizational skills to include the ability to chair and facilitate meetings with stakeholders
- Team player with demonstrated commitment to service excellence
- Works well individually or as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
- Reports and communicates progress effectively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system environments
