Recruitment / Posting Title : Non-Teaching Posting Fall 2025 - Course Support Positions

The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology is seeking Stockroom / Course Support for Introduction to Experimentation, Organic Chemistry Laboratory, Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, Physical Chemistry Laboratory, General Chemistry Lecture, Organic Chemistry Lecture, and other undergraduate courses.

Stockroom support duties include :

  • Assisting with preparing reagents
  • Stocking equipment
  • Enforcing safety
  • Proper handling of chemical waste
  • Staffing stockroom under the supervision of faculty in charge of the stockroom

Course support duties include :

  • Preparation for office hours
  • Proctoring
  • Handling grading of any assignments or assessments as dictated by the course coordinators / lecturers
  • Providing support for lecturers in maintaining and populating the Learning Management Site for the course
  • Position Status : Part Time

    Qualifications :

    Minimum Education and Experience : BS or BA in Chemistry preferred. For technical course support, experience with Canvas and Gradescope / Akindi required.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Canvas, Gradescope, Akindi (if applying for course support)
