Responsibilities :

• Operate asphalt screed to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications as instructed by the crew Foreman on highway, municipal and private contracts, to ensure daily schedules / estimates are met.
• Make normal adjustments to obtain proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment in paving, crushing and plant operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily maintenance, clean and service the equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment; complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
• Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
• Productively operated in a collaborative manner with all crew members
