Sales Engineer ( Mining / Crushers / Screening / Pelletizing) - Remote

Job Description

Our partner in the mining machinery space is actively seeking a Sales Engineer to support their sales team through North America. This position will be mainly remote with up to 75% travel throughout the US, Canada, And Mexico. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, hard-working, proactive, friendly and willing to learn and grow with the business in a high-paced environment. Valid Passport is required for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies and market approaches for all engineered and wire screen media and liners through sales approach
• Provide technical application knowledge and support to customers and the sales network
• Provide technical and commercial product knowledge and support to the sales network
• Travel with our sales network
• Work  with all partners and suppliers to ensure knowledge, growth expectations and relationships are well-managed and communicated
• Participate in trade shows and industry events as required and engage in potential international events
• Constantly generate and update new processes to increase sales efficiencies

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in Direct Mining experience. Bachelors in one of the following areas : Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or similar field Expert level understanding of the duties and responsibilities carried out by the geotechnical, geological, and mining engineering departments. Comprehensive knowledge of rock mechanics and underground support systems Expert knowledge of underground mine design and planning. Proficiency in the following computer systems : Microsoft Office, Map3D, Deswik, RocScience, and Leapfrog. PE License is a PLUS
