Join Phasor Engineering Inc as a Civil Engineer in our Calgary or Burnaby office. Reporting to the Civil Engineering Manager, you will lead and execute structural design engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost‑effective structural foundation designs from conceptual to detail design, tender and construction, adhering to local codes and standards.
• Lead and mentor designers, drafters, and junior engineers.
• Perform site visits, inspections, and prepare reports on existing and new structures.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural engineer.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Canada directly related to foundation design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Alberta.
• Project experience in foundation design for major infrastructure projects.
• Design experience for electrical power transmission lines and substations (incl. foundations: subgrade, driven pile, grillage, mat, caisson, helical; guy anchors; concrete/grout).
• Knowledge and proficiency in finite element analysis and related structural engineering software.
• Experience in seismic design and analysis is an asset.
