Production Coordinator / Plant Administrator

Pertinent Information :   Exciting opportunity to start with a new facility opening shortly. This role will directly support the Operations Manager in a variety of planning and materials functions. Full details to be provided at time of interview.

Wage :   $26-30 / hr. Comprehensive benefits package.

Location :   Windsor / Oldcastle, ON.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Planner / Quality Coordinator will provide operational support in a variety of capacities.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to :

Production Planning & Control Responsibilities

• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything in place for production
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management and to global planning manager
• Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
• Issuing and printing work orders from the system
• Distributing production schedules and work orders
• Contacting suppliers to verify shipment details
• Preparing reports on production performance, including efficiency, consumption of raw materials or quality control
