We’re looking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Law Clerk like you to join our dynamic team.

The Role :

As an Intermediate Law Clerk, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting with a variety of corporate and commercial matters.

You'll provide comprehensive support to our legal team and clients, aiding in complex business transactions and issues relating to employment, commercial contracts, privacy, and intellectual property.

What You’ll Do :

  • Draft a wide range of contracts.
  • Keep current with for-profit and not-for-profit legislation.
  • Support the legal team with the preparation and execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documents and corporate records.
  • Assist in the formation and restructuring of business entities, including preparing and filing necessary documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing both administrative and substantive support.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends, and communicate these updates to the team.
  • Coordinate with other team members to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering their development and growth.
  • Demonstrate excellence in your work and support to the legal team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with current and potential new clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Law Clerk diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a law clerk in a corporate / commercial law setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and office productivity software.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for providing exceptional client service.
  • Enthusiasm for building and maintaining client relationships.

Salary :

$60,000 to $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience) plus benefits.
