What are your contributions to the team?

• Validate and revise assembly instruction guides or manufacturing instruction guides for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components.
• Interpret, drawings and other engineering documents.
• Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
• Develop necessary tools to manufacture or assemble aircraft components by taking into account established geometric tolerancing.
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.
• Participate actively in production support by coordinating problem solving with other support departments.
• Keep abreast of best ways to enhance assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a minimum of 3 years in a related discipline.
• You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have good 3D visualization, good analytical skills and an ability to search for information quickly.
• You have a general knowledge of the mechanical and avionics systems of a Green aircraft.
• You have a general knowledge of the basic principles of manufacturing and installing an aircraft interior.
• You have knowledge of the aircraft certification process (Manuf vs AMO) and are able to understand the related documentation.
• You are familiar with computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc..
• You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc..
• You are an excellent team player and are known for your perseverance and judgment.
• You are able to work independently and prioritize your files effectively.
• You are comfortable managing several simultaneous files and finding relevant technical solutions quickly.
• You are proficient in the French language, both oral and written, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
