Do you have about 3 years of generalist experience in Labour and Employment Law?

Our client, a law firm with an excellent reputation labour law team, is looking for a Lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in labour and employment law, in order to advise and represent a sophisticated clientele.

The professional will be assigned a central role as an advisor within a dynamic and stimulating team of experienced specialists who are passionate about this area of law.

YOUR ROLE:

• Work on stimulating and diversified files related to labour and employment law, including labour relations and OHS;

• Drafts various documents related to labour and employment law such as legal proceedings but also employment contracts as well as policies and directives;

• Provide legal advice and opinions;

• Plead before specialized legal bodies in connection with the cases entrusted to you;

• Contribute to the interpretation of collective agreements and their revision;

• Participate in and conduct labor law investigations;

• Act as the main point of contact with customers.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

• Tangible experience of approximately 3 years or more in labour and employment law, ideally acquired in private practice;

• Experience in advocacy and comfort before judicial and administrative courts;

• Organization and good management of priorities;

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
