POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking to add a Superintendent for our construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Superintendent will play an integral role in leading work on job sites and ensuring safety and effective operations. The right individual is familiar with guardrail, cable (HTCB), steel barriers and signage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and organize equipment, labour, and materials for work completionWork with project managers to organize project schedule, timelines, and deadlines for work completionCommunicate crew schedules, project work locations, and deadlines for completionOversee effective operations on project sites and ensure foreman meet expectationsCommunicate equipment repairs and maintenance needs to the Director of OperationsCommunicate with clients on-site regarding work completion and progressProvide leadership, direction, and training to foreman and crewsEstablish a culture of safety among the crews and ensure appropriate paperwork is completedLead, train, and mentor foreman and establish accountability for performance on work sitesWork with Human Resources in hiring foreman and crew labourersReview and approve timesheets for crewsComfortable driving a 2-ton and hauling trailers with various products or equipmentOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
3-4 years previous construction experiencePrevious supervisory, foreman, or superintendent experiencePreferably, experience with sign structures, cable barrier, or guard railConstruction safety training and valid safety ticketsSafety-first mindset with strong leadership and communication skillsStrong organization and attention to detailLeadership experience and ability to coach, mentor, and trainClean drivers abstract and valid driver’s licenseHOURS OF WORK
Hours of work may vary depending upon project schedules and timelines; however, must be capable of working a minimum schedule of Monday through Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm with weekend and evening work when required. Nights & Out of town work are required.
