We’re a close-knit, collaborative team with offices in London and Vancouver, though we’ve been fully remote since 2020. As a Junior Designer and Animator, you’ll contribute to multiple projects weekly, gaining exposure to a variety of creative challenges and hands-on experience. The Role This is an entry-level role with lots of potential for growth. We’re looking for someone who enjoys combining creativity and technical skills to create compelling online experiences. While deep technical expertise isn’t required, a solid foundation in design and basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a passion for learning are essential. We offer on-the-job training in front-end development, graphic / motion design, and animation, with the goal of helping you become a core member of our team as we grow. What We’re Looking For Requirements : Based in BC, AB, or SK, with full-time work permission in Canada.Strong and stable internet connection and mobile reception suitable for remote work.Available to work Monday-Friday 8 : 00am – 4 : 00pm PST.What You Bring to the Table : A background in Design or Front-End Development (degree, certificate, or self-taught).A portfolio that shows your creativity—whether through coding, design, or both.Experience in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (professional, academic, or personal projects).Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with Illustrator and After Effects is a bonus.An eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Attention to detail when QAing assets, designs and code.A love of solving creative problems and making ideas come to life!Your Responsibilities In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and clients to create engaging content. Your tasks may include : Design : Updating designs based on feedback.Adapting layouts for new formats.Development : Coding banners and interactive elements using HTML5, CSS, and JS (training provided).Updating and resizing existing code to fit new specifications.Animation (with training) : Assisting in creating motion graphics.Updating or resizing animations based on feedback.QA : Assisting with QA when a brief is completed.Assisting with QA of any assets provided by the client.
