Plan and organize voting, including special ballot voting inside the AARO officeAssist in and direct and monitor work of office staff and election officersAdminister the Canada Elections ActCommunicate with the RO and their staff during an eventDuties
Plan and organize voting, including special ballot voting inside the AARO officeCarry out pre-event assignments (as required by RO and as authorized by the CEO)Identify, open and ensure set-up of AARO office, including service centreArrange for security guards if necessary, and enact security controls to mitigate risk at the office and at polling sitesAssist in and direct and monitor work of office staff and election officersHelp the SPS from the RO office appoint and train office staff and service agentsAppoint and train DROs, CPSs and IOsReceive, control and distribute supplies for ordinary and advance pollsOversee budget for the AARO officePrepare accounts and submit to RO for approvalAdminister the Canada Elections ActHelp office staff and election officers adhere to the procedures outlined in their manuals / guidesCommunicate with the RO during an eventSend payroll information to the FO-Pay SystemCommunicate with the AC to obtain technical support within the AARO officeRelay results to RO on polling dayThe wage rate of $44.71 per hour applies to assignments (if any) prior to an election.
