Position Summary

Pharmacist Trainee, Pharmacy Services

The Pharmacy trainee will support services provided by the Pharmacy Department. These include but are not limited to :

• Medication distribution and pharmacy operation activities
• Conducting best possible medication histories (BPMH)
• Projects as assigned

The Pharmacy trainee will be expected to work full-time during the summer months and at least 2 shifts per month during the academic year. During the summer months, the Pharmacy trainee will have opportunities to participate in clinical activities such as shadowing of pharmacists on nursing units and attending educational sessions.

All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and others by ensuring that health and safety policies and regulations are followed.
