• .48 - .55 cents per mile (commensurate with experience) Are you an experienced truck driver, looking to work for a friendly, medium-sized company where you have the opportunity to travel across Canada and the US? We’re Dallas Transport ( -Transport-Ltd-1544627479170855 / ) , and for over 35 years, we’ve provided premium delivery service to a diverse customer base across the United States and Canada. Now, we’re looking for a junior or experienced truck driver to join our great team. As our new Truck Driver, your primary goal will be to operate trucks and trailers owned by Dallas Transport to deliver material on a timely manner. Often you’ll transport various types of cargo, such as open deck work, lumber, steel, construction equipment etc. This involves careful attention to procedure as you secure the equipment on the float with the necessary blocks, tarps, straps and chains needed. You’ll thrive in this position if you are a strong communicator, efficient, reliable, and mechanically inclined. Your schedule will need to be flexible, and often you’ll start as early as 6 AM or work 7 days in a row when needed. • Experience working as a truck driver (asset)
• Active class 1 driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift 25lbs regularly
