Job Summary

• Full-time : 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Friday
• Location : Ottawa Office (5 days per week) 170 Laurier Ave West Suite 310 K1P 5V5
• Reporting To : vCFO

We are bringing our bookkeeping and accounting function in-house and as such we are seeking a motivated finance professional to lead this role. The Controller will report to the virtual CFO with dotted-line reporting to the CEO. The role will encompass all aspects of accounting and finance associated with an early-stage technology venture including payroll bookkeeping monthly closes financial reporting annual review / audit engagements income and commodity tax returns and customer engagement tracking and reporting.

As the first full-time finance role in a high-growth venture the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all the accounting-related functions of the Company including but not limited to the following :
