Job description

Your Opportunity:

Grow your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while enjoying the balance and quality of life that rural Alberta offers. Based at the Bonnyville Community Health Services Site, this multi-site role spans both Bonnyville Community Health Services and the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre. As a valued member of a supportive interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you’ll work to your full scope of practice with a diverse client population—assessing, developing care plans, and delivering evidence-based treatment that makes a meaningful difference. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will help you build lasting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues in a close-knit community. Rural Alberta provides a peaceful, fulfilling lifestyle, and Bonnyville—located on the traditional lands of Treaty 6 and the Métis—embodies this through its welcoming atmosphere and natural beauty. Known as “Multi-Natural,” the town celebrates its diverse cultural heritage and rich natural resources. Surrounded by lakes and boreal forest, with Cold Lake and Moose Lake nearby, it offers year-round outdoor recreation alongside excellent health, education, recreation, and cultural services. With a lower cost of living and slower pace than larger centres, Bonnyville is an ideal place to live, work, and make a difference while enjoying a strong sense of community. This position may qualify for a recruitment incentive of up to $60,000, based on the length of their Return for Service. For full details, visit
