Status :  This posting is for an existing position Roles and responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Master Grower, the Assistant Grower will execute the following tasks related to production for outside grow :

• Perform all growth media tests (Moisture, PH / EC)
• Ensure proper irrigation of all plants in the zones of their control.
• Ensure crop work is being done appropriately by the labour teams while they are in their zone.
• Maintain and observe general health of the plants within their zone on a daily basis.
• As needed, effectively scout for insects and diseases. Spot spraying when necessary.
• Responsible for the applications of Biologicals and for requesting additional orders from the Master Grower.
• Fill out all necessary crop paperwork.
• Work with Master Grower and Facilities to ensure irrigation is working as desired.
• Working with the labour teams, ensure all waste is removed from zone by end of day.
• Show initiative with the improvement of their processes, with intention of increasing cannabinoids, yield and terpenes.
• Work with Cleaning and Sanitation to ensure that their Zones are cleaned to a satisfactory level.
• Responsible for the yield, potency, terpenes, and quality of the product coming from their zones.
• In cooperation with other Assistant Grower, ensure that the health of the plants is monitored and kept over the weekends.
• Competent to independently : maintain mothers, cut clones, rear clones, rear transplants, maintain vegetative plants and flowering plants.
• Ability to perform cloning, transplanting, pruning, defoliation, harvesting, bucking and other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :
