If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT ON-LINE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED VIA THE Canada.ca SITE. Persons with disabilities preventing them from applying on-line are asked to contact the individual noted at the bottom of this advertisement.

Please do not email the Contact asking for an update. You will be contacted if your resume will be considered further.

When a manager has a vacancy for a specific position, they may request a number of random referrals to consider for their position(s). If there are qualified persons in the inventory pool, they may consider those already assessed. Once a candidate has been assessed, and found qualified, they will be placed into the pool of qualified persons and may be referred for future permanent or temporary vacancies.

***PLEASE NOTE***
Please apply only to the tenures (permanent or temporary, full-time or part-time) and durations (0 to 12+ months) you are willing to accept. Do not apply for short term positions if you are not prepared to accept them or if you are not prepared to physically relocate to the area. Relocation for initial appointees is not provided for terms less than one year. For more information:

Failure to follow these instructions may impact your candidacy for appointments. It is the candidate’s responsibility to research the location, housing costs, transportation, etc. prior to applying. Employee pay parking is very limited at this location and there is an existing waitlist. We recommend you integrate transit or other means of transportation in your research.

If you are referred to a position and are not available to be assessed in the immediate future, your application may be rejected. It is your responsibility, should you be temporarily unavailable, to ensure your application in My Jobs has been retrieved or deleted until you are available to be assessed.

Your application in this inventory will be active for 180 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the My Jobs menu of your account 30 days before the end of your active period. If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory. Should your application become inactive while the process is still open, a notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired; you may select the link Update my Inventory Status to reaffirm your interest.

When submitting an application to this selection process, you will be prompted to answer screening questions concerning the essential education, and the essential and asset experience qualifications. It is your responsibility to respond fully to each question. Your responses MUST BE limited to no more than two short paragraphs. Content of your response must be supported by your CV/resume as your responses to these questions will be used as a primary source of information and your CV/resume will only be used to validate this information. Any response you provide may be required to be validated by a reference.

Original proof of your education will be requested and must be provided during the selection process, in order to verify that candidates meet the education requirement. Candidates who are unable to provide proof that they meet this essential qualification as requested may be eliminated from the process. Also note, if the name on your education credentials does not match the name on your current photo identification, you will need to provide proof of your name change.

Education obtained outside of Canada must be evaluated. Please contact The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials as soon as possible to initiate the evaluation process
