Job Type :  Temporary to Full-time

Location :  Brantford, ON

Pay Rate :  $20 per hour

Hours :  6 : 40AM TO 3 : 30PM - Monday to Friday - Fridays might end early as per business needs

What You'll Do :

• Move levers or controls that operate Counterbalance Forklifts.
• Follow all relevant SOP’s. Including but not limited to, Health and Safety and Food Safety.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery to proper location.
• Load or unload pallets from containers or other transport vehicles.
• Stack loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products in a safe manner.
• Weigh materials or products and job data on tags or labels.
• Adhere to all quality procedures and review process to assure conformity to these procedures and report any deviations to management.
• Use scanners, tablets, and computerized warehouse management system as required and instructed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Must have valid counterbalance forklift license and minimum of 2 years of experience
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to apply good sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand for extended periods, talk and hear. The employee must be able to use their hands and reach with their arms.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb. The employee may lift or move up to 55 pounds.
• Employee works in a plant setting. The noise level is high. This position is exposed to outside temperatures. It may also be exposed to dust. The employee may be required to lift or move up to 150 pounds jointly with another employee.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
