Job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client, an engineering firm, across their Building Restoration Division with opportunities to be based out of Kitchener, Burlington, or Toronto. This firm is a long-standing, 100% employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that has served Ontario for over four decades. They pride themselves on a culture of shared accountability and high client satisfaction. In this role, you will lead transformative restoration projects across southwestern Ontario, specializing in building science and structural integrity.

Advantages
As a 100% employee-owned firm, our client offers a unique culture of shared success. Their package includes competitive compensation, a flexible work environment for healthy work-life balance, and full reimbursement for professional memberships, along with benefits, RRSP and profit sharing options.

Responsibilities
•Lead building science investigations and draft technical reports for parking structures, roofing systems, and building envelopes.
•Spearhead business development by identifying new opportunities and managing the proposal and tendering process.
•Act as the primary technical contact for clients, ensuring long-term relationship stability and high satisfaction.
•Oversee the full project lifecycle from initial investigation through to construction and completion.
•Manage project financial health, including invoicing, budget monitoring, and accounts receivable.
•Mentor a growing 15-person team by refining internal technical systems and training junior engineering staff.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Building Science or Structural Restoration.
•At least 5+ years of consulting experience within the restoration engineering sector.
•A P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) is highly preferred
•Experience with energy modeling is an asset
•Valid Class G driver’s license and a willingness to travel to various sites (must be comfortable working at heights).
•Strong technical writing and presentation skills are essential for client reporting and proposal efforts.

Summary
This is an opportunity for a restoration expert to take a leadership role in a stable, employee-owned engineering firm. If you have a deep technical background in masonry, waterproofing, and building envelopes and enjoy mentoring others, this role offers the perfect blend of technical work and project management.
