Job Title : Shipper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring that all products are properly tagged and stored. You will utilize an overhead crane, forklift, and database software to maintain accurate inventory records and fulfill customer orders. This position is a 1-year contract with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with an overhead crane or forklift.
• Gather batch and heat numbers for outstanding sizes based on customer requirements.
• Tag finished goods material with shipping labels or bar code tags.
• Unload and put away packaging material.
• Break bundles and repack them as per customer orders.
• Ensure that all products are in their proper stock location as per the floor plan and keep stock areas hazard free at all times.
• Use database software daily to check for availability of material as per customer orders.
• Conduct continuous stock audit of the shop floor to expose any issues with finished goods material.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00
