Role Overview
Contract Administrator on behalf of a leading organization in the utilities and infrastructure sector. Based out of the Dunsmuir office (Hybrid). Contract Duration: 1 Year.
You will support and manage the full lifecycle of low to medium complexity contracts, overseeing performance, maintaining compliance with corporate and financial controls, and fostering productive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform contract management activities, applying solid knowledge of contract management practices while working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure both the client and suppliers fulfill contractual obligations.
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize risk and maximize supplier performance.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships between suppliers, stakeholders, and the client’s supply chain organization through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Forecast, monitor, and report on contract usage to ensure compliance with financial and budgetary requirements.
- Provide guidance to client groups on sourcing, procurement, and management of goods and services contracts using sound understanding of public sector procurement law and best practices.
Must Haves
- Minimum 5 years of contract management work experience.
- Proven Contract Administration and Contract Management background.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through with minimal supervision.
- Quick learner and self‑starter capable of working independently.
- Advanced English proficiency for a professional environment.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience working in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry.
Education And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English skills, written and spoken.
