Electrical Engineering Co-op Spring / Summer 2026

The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for an Electrical Engineering Co-op , come grow with us!

The successful candidate will join us for the Spring / Summer 2026 co-op term starting in May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with FEM Projects
• Participate in Model Preparation and Setup
• Assisting with creating or modifying models for simulation
• Running FEA simulations using software
• Contributing to data analysis and reporting
• Learning to interpret simulation results to identify stress concentrations, deformation, or thermal hotspots
• Coordination with manufacturing and test lab for testing and validation of prototypes for validation of simulations
• Assist with technical report preparation and presentations for engineering teams
• Working closely with senior engineers and mentors
• Participating in team meetings and design reviews
• Ensuring simulations and results are documented according to company standards
• Learning and applying relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, CSA)
