Introduction
Fisheries Branch is seeking passionate and energetic individuals to fill Watercraft Inspector Roving Crew positions to deploy to various stations across Manitoba. Positions are headquartered out of Winnipeg and crew members will travel as-needed to stations throughout Eastern, Western, and Northern Manitoba with additional to-be-announced locations planned for the season.

Duties : The Aquatic Invasive Species Watercraft Inspector plays an integral role in enforcing Manitoba's Aquatic Invasive Species Regulation, particularly inspecting and decontaminating watercraft and water-related equipment, communicating with and educating the public about the Province's Aquatic Invasive Species Program; and promoting and educating the public about the stewardship practices they must employ to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species in Manitoba. Successful candidates will be expected to travel throughout Manitoba for extended periods of time, work evenings and weekends including statutory holidays and outdoors in various weather conditions, coordinate site plans, and communicate with landowners and provincial staff.
