Partners in Education (PIE) Assistant Teacher Grades K-7

SUMMARY : We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who resides within the Duncan region and is interested in assisting with teaching a multi-grade, one day / week, Thursday class in a 0.12 FTE position. Partners in Education (PIE) assistant teachers assist with facilitation of lessons and support learners in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and ADST through hands-on learning and project-based assignments. Applicants should enjoy working in a team with other teachers and support staff. The following position is available starting in September 2024 : Duncan PIE Gr. K-7 on Thursdays Remuneration for this position ranges from $5967 to $10,007, depending on the teacher's level of certification and years of experience. EDUCATION AND / OR TRAINING : Teachers who are certified by the B.C. Teachers Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools are preferred; however, applications from non-certified individuals who meet all other criteria will be considered. Applicants must also be Christians who agree with RCOA’s RCOA’s statement of faith.
