The Opportunity :
We are currently assisting our client, a family owned and operated architectural lighting manufacturer to find a Technical Service Manager to join their team. In this position you’ll play a key role in upholding the company’s quality standards through engineering best practices. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact customer satisfaction while developing the technical skills of your team and contributing to the company’s success.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Leading and mentoring Junior Electrical Engineers.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and conducting quality control.
- Providing technical support to customers throughout project phases.
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Designing and improving lighting products, integrating new technologies.
- Managing technical documentation, including fixture drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Implementing process improvements and supporting production teams.
- Ensuring health, safety, and certification compliance.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful :
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Controls.3-5 years of experience, with a focus on lighting controls.Proficiency in AUTOCAD, Solidworks, REVIT, and programming languages (C, C++).Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Up-to-date technical knowledge and ability to work cross-functionally.
