Join Kicking Horse Coffee as a Maintenance Technician II – Millwright and play a key role in keeping our flagship roasting and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently.
About the Role
As a member of our maintenance team, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and upgrade production equipment across the facility. Your work will support the production departments to ensure equipment runs effectively, allowing us to roast and pack the best beans in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and upgrade production equipment, including packaging and coffee roasting machinery.
- Collaborate with teammates, coworkers, and external contractors.
- Work with our maintenance planner to schedule preventative maintenance and repairs while keeping an inventory of critical and general spare parts.
- Champion best practices in preventative maintenance, lean manufacturing, and process improvement to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and develop other team members through our apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
Ticketed Millwright with 2–5 years of experience working with industrial equipment.Skilled in root cause analysis and equipment troubleshooting techniques.Knowledge of repairing vacuums, chain‑veys, blowers, gearboxes, and calibrating scales.Able to read schematics for pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and propane control systems.Knowledge of HMI / VFD navigation and PLC ideology.Proficient in technical reporting, using clear language to communicate deficiencies.Confident use of Microsoft Office and other organizational tools.Certified in WHMIS, Forklift, Humanlift, Fall‑Arrest, Confined Space, Lock‑Out / Tag‑Out, or Rigging and Hoisting.What We Value

Legally entitled to work in Canada.On‑site position located in Invermere, BC.Full‑time, permanent – 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, ½ hour paid lunch break.Hourly range : $36.50 – $46.75.Perks
