Role and Responsibilities
The role we are offering you :
The responsibilities are to ensure a solid financial governance on CAE Technology projects, support internal clients to achieve financial targets, support forecasting and budgeting activities and prepare business cases for technology investments.
Be ready to :
- Govern Budget and Forecast process
- Prepare Business Cases for investment opportunities, challenge the numbers, build and support financial assumptions
- Implement, oversee and improve monthly reviews for technology projects
- Prepare monthly / quarterly financial reporting packages for Executives, explain discrepancies versus Budget and Previous Forecast
- Identify project financial risks and be a key contributor in the mitigation of those risks
- Partner with Technology and Business Segments to unify visions and simplify processes
- Support the team members in their day-to-day tasks
- Perform financial analyses and defy status quo
The ideal candidate has :
- MBA or a professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in technology
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, gap analysis
- Organized, detail-oriented, autonomous, and able to take initiative
- Team player, ability to lead and customer-oriented
- Proactive, dynamic, and problem solver
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to communicate in French and English (written and spoken)
- MS Excel / MS PowerPoint / MS Outlook / MS Teams advanced user skills
- Planisware knowledge is considered an asset
