Job description

The Mullings Group Search Canada is in search of a Production Manager for Marketing Impact Ltd. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee and coordinate the activities of a high-volume production team engaged in the development of custom displays and POP merchandising.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Manager brings a high level of energy, a demonstrated inclusive leadership philosophy, deep technical skills and knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality an efficiency.

This position is based on-site in Concord, Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production lead hands, ensuring adherence to established processes and timelines.
  • Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, safety protocols, and production standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage the requisition of materials and supplies to meet production schedules.
  • Evaluate materials and finished products to ensure compliance with organizational quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor production performance and prepare reports for management, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
  • Ensure a safe and productive working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance product development and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in custom displays or merchandising.
  • Strong understanding and experience of fabrication processes and production techniques.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Proficient in inventory management and production planning software.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
