Role and Facility Information

The ED Program GP will provide Direct Patient Care to clients attending the Central Island Child and Youth Eating Disorders Programs, including :

• ED Medical Monitoring with focus on 17-24 year olds (clients that fall outside the scope of Pediatricians), with monitoring of significantly unwell & complex Adults and / or youth under 17, as necessary
• Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for some of the more acute and complex ED Program clients
• Limited follow-up care for complex ED Program clients
• Robust discharge planning with a goal of reducing readmission rates

The ED Program GP will provide indirect patient care appropriate for the patient's conditions including but not limited to :
