Mining System Planner

We are currently seeking a qualified Mining System Planner to join our Mining team, based out of Leroy, SK . The Mining System Planner will work with the IPT Mining Systems team and the BHP Ops Maintenance Mining Systems team on a mining system comprising a bore machine, extendable belt system, vent-power-train, and friction monorail system; deployed with existing and new Jansen mining infrastructure. The planner will focus on scheduling and planning of mining system deployment activities : lowering, storage, assembly, launch, and commissioning. The planner will collaborate with BHP Ops Maintenance MS team and support the creation of work instructions, use information from those instructions to develop a detailed L5 schedule, and update it as plans evolve. Once execution begins, the planner updates work instructions with lessons learned, tracks progress, and refines deployment durations based on actuals. The planner ensures the L5 schedule can roll up into L4 and L3 durations and coordinates with the IPT JS1 scheduler and BHP Mine Planning team to ensure durations are reflected in Jansen schedules and mine plan.

After the Definition Phase Study, HBJV is carrying out the Detailed Engineering Phase for Processing, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) and Mining Areas of the 4.5 Mtpa Stage 1 Potash Mine, with a published TIC of US $5.3-5.7 Billion. The HBJV will use a hybrid of new technologies and HBJV tools to execute this project.
