Job descriptionPayroll management* Process and verify payroll for nearly 300 employees (hourly, salaried, and CCQ) spread across multiple sites.* Create, modify, and close employee files in the HRIS and payroll systems (Employer D).* Manage timesheets, vacation time, bonuses, deductions, and taxable benefits.* Produce tax slips (T4, Relevé 1, summaries, etc.) and perform year-end activities.* Answer questions from employees and managers regarding compensation and benefits.Benefits administration* Administer group insurance plans and other benefits programs.* Process enrollments, changes, and terminations, and communicate with providers.* Manage leave tracking (vacation, sick, maternity, CNESST, etc.) and keep documentation up to date.Operational support - finance* Produce and update payroll, workforce, and benefits reports for the HR and Finance teams.* Perform payroll-related accounting entries and assist with salary budget tracking.* Monitor legislative changes and recommend improvements to internal practices.Continuous improvement and quality* Participate in the implementation and optimization of the HRIS.* Contribute to the development of internal procedures and guides related to payroll and benefits.
