Key Responsibilities

We're on the lookout for a full time Data Analyst . We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong financial domain knowledge and hands-on SQL expertise to support data analysis, reporting, and data integration initiatives. This role plays a critical part in translating financial and operational data from source systems into standardized, trusted data models used for analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working between finance stakeholders and technical teams, understands how financial data flows across systems, and can document and validate source-to-target mappings with precision. In addition, typical duties and responsibilities for a Data Engineer position may include :

• Analyze financial and operational data from multiple source systems (e.g., GL, AP, AR, billing, policy, or transaction systems)
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings for data warehouses, data lakes, or analytics platforms
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and definitions
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation between source systems and target models
• Support financial reporting, KPI development, and ad-hoc analysis
• Document data definitions, business rules, transformations, and assumptions
• Assist in data quality initiatives, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and BI developers during implementations and enhancements
