Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. employs highly-trained technicians to perform telecommunications infrastructure installations. Whether at residential, retail, commercial, institutional or hospitality environments ATSI is well-suited to assist clients with their telecom installation needs. Reporting directly to the Manager, Control Centre, the Team Lead, Control Centre, will be responsible for supporting the control center team in all functions. What Youll Do Here Support daytoday Control Centre operations to ensure work is completed accurately and on time Act as a goto resource for Resource Associates by answering questions and helping resolve issues Help train and support team members to ensure they understand their roles and expectations Assist with organizing documentation and keeping procedures up to date Communicate challenges, updates, and progress to the Manager, Control Centre Help implement new processes by documenting, training, and supporting the team through change Work closely with employees and contractors to ensure smooth collaboration Provide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to help the team perform at their best Step in to support Resource Associates when needed Participate in planning discussions and contribute ideas for improving processes and performance What you Bring to the Team Someone interested in growing into a leadership role Strong communication and people skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks Comfortable making daytoday decisions and solving problems Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office) Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and best practices Experience with dispatch, control centres, or technical environments is an assetbut not required Ideal for someone new to leadership or looking to build leadership experience Handson coaching and mentorship provided Opportunity to develop decisionmaking, communication, and peoplemanagement skills Exposure to operations, planning, and process improvement Aecon fosters diversity , inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
