Accounts Receivable Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee key financial processes including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.Responsibilities:- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.- Track and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.- Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve payment issues with clients.- Monitor and apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts using accounting software.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper billing and communication of account statuses.- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable for internal review.- Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions.- Assist with cash applications and ensure accurate allocation of funds.- Communicate effectively with clients to address overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.- Leverage accounting systems like QuickBooks and Great Plains to streamline financial processes.- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Great Plains.- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and cash applications.- Familiarity with billing and commercial collections processes.- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
