Job description

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Warehouse Order Picker for our 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, Ontario!   • Starting wage of $19.43 / hour!
  • Additional $2 / hour for hours worked 9 : 00pm - 6 : 00am;
  • Milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours, and annually thereafter;

Job Highlights for Warehouse Order Picker, Evenings :

  • Supply over 270 stores across Canada with inventory via order picking
  • Ensure safe, secure, and accurate stacking of various-sized boxes onto skids
  • Lift boxes weighing 1-50 pounds, following strict safety guidelines
  • Operate electric double pallet trucks safely and efficiently
  • Match skids with outbound license plate numbers (OLPNs)
  • Ensure order accuracy and timely shipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support other departments as needed

    • Job Requirements :

  • Follow safety procedures per OSHA and WHMIS standards
  • Stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift heavy objects repeatedly
  • Work comfortably in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • Be punctual, adaptable, detail-oriented, and professional

    • Job Assets :

  • Experience with Voice Picking or Manhattan WMS
  • Experience operating electric pallet trucks
  • Warehouse experience
  • G2 or higher driver’s license

    • Schedule for Day Shift :

    Tuesday to Saturday : 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm
