On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Product Specialist in Moncton, New Brunswick. The Product Specialist establishes relationships with decision makers in the healthcare systems, and collaborates on strategic plans to grow the business. They have a passion for helping patients and are ambitious and innovative in their approach to relationship building and problem solving.
Key responsibilities include :
- Attain sales / market share objectives.
- Collaborate on creation of regional plan; owns execution of aligned regional strategy supporting the development of priority accounts and customers in Biosurgery and Energy portfolios.
- Provide highly specialized technical expertise in Biosurgery and Energy solutions to the customer.
- Work closely with other sales team members to implement account plans, develop clinical relationships and provide case coverage and support.
- Lead and shape critical product trials in medium to large sized hospitals.
- Interact with sales and marketing management to refine product and marketing initiatives.
- Call on existing and prospective customers while providing product information, pricing and overall exceptional customer service.
- Operate within an assigned territory budget and adheres to assigned administrative duties.
- Provide insight on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
- Work with members of the regional sales team to improve performance and enhance morale.
Qualifications :
A University Degree is required, preferably in business, statistics or health sciences.A minimum of five years of sales, marketing or related experience is required.Medical device industry sales experience is required, preferably in the assigned market.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated leadership required.Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; comfort understanding clinical trial data.Proven track record of collaboration and problem solving and ability to take initiative and be creative.The individual will have the ability to handle multiple projects effectively and have an overall understanding of the Canadian healthcare environment.Up to 50% travel may be required.A valid driver’s license is required.
