Total Credit Recovery is a growing collection agency with a strong reputation for managing high-profile clients. As we continue to expand, we are embarking on a digital transformation journey, including a significant migration to the cloud.

We are looking for a visionary, strategic, and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and ensure our infrastructure supports our continued growth and evolving business needs.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role in our office.

Ideally, you are a university graduate in a related field with 8-12 years of experience leading change in the IT sphere.

The CTO will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall technology strategy, with a particular focus on our transition to the cloud, strengthening cybersecurity, and driving innovation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, report directly to the COO, and lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the company’s technology infrastructure and processes align with business goals.

Components of the Role :

Hands On Involvement :

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, particularly in data security and privacy.
• Identify and mitigate technology risks to ensure the highest levels of uptime and security.
• Manage technology budgets and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions.

• Lead the IT team in managing day-to-day technology operations, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with other executives to support business objectives through technology solutions.

Forward Thinking :

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy, with a focus on cloud migration, security, and scalability.
• Drive innovation by keeping up with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new systems and software, ensuring alignment with business needs

Requirements for the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud migration, and cybersecurity.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
• Experience managing and leading technology teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Compensation for this role is expected to be approximately $150,000 CAD annually based on experience.
