They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial and institutional construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, procurement plans, and financial forecasts.
- Lead contract administration, including tendering, negotiating subcontracts, issuing change orders, and reviewing progress claims.
- Collaborate closely with site teams, consultants, clients, and trade partners to resolve technical, scheduling, and coordination challenges.
- Manage project reporting, cost tracking, and risk mitigation to maintain project performance.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all project activities align with company health and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Coordinators and junior team members.
Ideal Candidate Requirements :
Minimum 7 years of experience managing commercial and institutional construction projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.Proven experience delivering projects valued at 5 million dollars or more.Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, building technology, or a related field is preferred.Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and financial management.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.Why this Firm?
