Role

Powerhaus is seeking an Electrical Technologist to provide design, drafting, and management activities for utility‑scale solar, energy storage, and transit electrification projects. Candidates are to be based in Canada, but projects will be all over North America and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues to achieve deliverables on time
• Create drawing packages for interconnection, RFPs, proposals, procurement, and construction using AutoCAD
• Build a process flow for projects and create libraries for standard equipment
• Prepare utility‑scale PV layouts with PVcase to optimize and determine grade limitations
• Lead, collaborate, and knowledge share with fellow colleagues
• Understand project lifecycles and the drafting deliverables required for each stage
• Review and create drafting standards to provide consistency throughout the firm and meet client requirements
