T ransportation Sales Manager - Mississauga
The Role
Connectrans is a division of the Kenan Advantage Group and KAG Logistics , a recognized leader in North American transportation. To meet Connectrans growth demands, we are expanding our current Sales team.
Our ideal candidate is an industry-experienced cross-border TL and LTL freight sales professional that is highly motivated, driven by the opportunity to achieve career and financial success and is looking to contribute to a rapidly growing company.
They will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to successfully onboard new and incremental business for the company.
This is an in office position based out of Mississauga, ON
Responsibilities
- Identify, capitalize, and convert customer partnership opportunities
- Has a laser focus on delivering an exceptional Customer Experience
- Implement strategic business development growth plans to support existing customers
- Cold call as appropriate to ensure robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure the customer's expectations are not only met but exceeded
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent3+ years prior transportation management sales experience in cross-border arenaHunter / Attainer mentality and constantly seeks new markets and new business expansion opportunitiesProven success selling within the non-asset, 3PL domestic, cross-border and US marketplace (preferred) in the transportation management industryExperience in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s & quotations with customersProven track record of exceeding personal sales targets and ability to build strong relationships with top level stakeholdersWhat Connectrans has to offer :
