Instructor Therapist Part Time, Permanent Onsite at our clinic located at : 1100 Central Parkway West, Mississauga Join our Team and What We'll Accomplish Together : As an Instructor Therapist (IT), you will be at the front lines of clinical care, working directly with children and youth on the autism spectrum. In our multidisciplinary clinic, you aren’t just following a checklist; you are part of an integrated team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and BCBAs, all working together to help our clients reach their full potential. What You'll Do : Your primary role is to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs to help children develop communication, social, and life skills while reducing challenging behaviors in a fun, supportive environment.* 1-on-1 Clinical Intervention : Deliver individualized behavioral programming using evidence-based strategies like Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET).* Data-Driven Progress : Accurately collect and graph real-time data on learner performance to ensure clinical decisions are based on objective evidence.* Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Work alongside Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to generalize skills across different therapeutic domains.* Behavior Support : Implement Positive Behavior Support plans to help children safely navigate frustration and develop emotional regulation skills.* Environment Management : Prepare instructional materials and maintain a clean, organized, and engaging treatment space. What You Bring : Completed post-secondary education in a related field* Experience working with children or teens* Comprehensive knowledge of ABA principles, practices, and procedures* Previous in-clinic experience supporting a pediatric population* E xcellent clinical and professional judgment aligned with accepted practice models* Ability to plan, organize, prioritize workload, and adapt to a dynamic caseload Terms : Part Time 22.5 hours per week* Working onsite in our clinic, located at 1100 Central Parkway West, Mississauga ONSalary Range : $19 - $25 per hourActual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
