Position Overview:
This is a combined presales and delivery role, assisting Gibraltar’s sales team to sell and deliver advanced WAN Optimization / Security consulting services and solutions to clients. Responsibilities include design, deployment, and support of advanced WAN Optiminzation / Security Solutions revolving around Netscaler, Riverbed, Cisco WAAS, and HP ProCurve solutions.
Summary:
• Assist sales team to analyze client requirements, and lead in the design and deployment of networking solutions to support business needs.
• Develop technical solutions and write detailed reports for projects employing complex technologies.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and estimates of moderate complexity, employing project management capabilities.
• Involved in selling professional services related client solutions.
Qualifications:
• Detailed knowledge of networking and WAN acceleration / security product lines.
• Previous experience in content switching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player but also be able to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent analytical, time management and project management skills.
• The ability to work effectively with people in a high volume/high stress technical support environment.
• Valid driver’s license and able to travel to client sites.
• Reliability Status Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bilingualism (English & French) an asset.
Education / Certification:
• Post-Secondary education in a related technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Prior experience in WAN Acceleration and Experience an asset
Experience:
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with the methodologies and techniques of technical development, implementation, and operational management.
