Position Summary
Our Technology department is seeking a System Administrator with 5 or more years of experience managing Enterprise on-premises environments and cloud infrastructure. Broad responsibilities will include working with the various teams from Infrastructure, Product, Development, and Architecture to facilitate the design, development, infrastructure automation, and maintenance of our on-premises private cloud and Azure cloud environments. Key focus on project-based system builds.

Primary Responsibilities
Working alongside other members of the infrastructure team to provide an escalation path, addressing issues, and driving improvements for our 24x7 Canadian Health Care operation.Continuous service improvements of our automation repository, used in managing our on-premises and cloud infrastructure.Design, implement, and document infrastructure automation, primarily using PowerShell, including deployment pipelines and system configuration scripts.Drive ongoing improvements to system performance, scalability, and reliability through innovation and automation.Collaborate with security, operations, and infrastructure teams to support transformations and system upgrades.Maintain and improve technical documentation, processes, and version control using tools such as GitHub.Adhere to Change Management procedures, which includes after-hours work to minimize impact to production environments.Additional Duties and Expectations

Relevant IT / Computer Science degree or diploma, or equivalent experience.5 or more years of PowerShell development and automation. Experience with other scripting languages will be considered an asset.5 or more years working in a private cloud Enterprise infrastructure.5 or more years managing Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO.Strong experience in implementing and managing, using security best practices.Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and infrastructure-as-code best practices.Additional Desirable Qualifications
Experience in automating system administration, reporting, and capacity management.Working knowledge of infrastructure components such as Citrix CVAD, SCCM, Webswing, Windows PKI, and CommVault is an asset.Experience with troubleshooting tools, such as Splunk, SysInternals (ProcMon, ProcEx, …).Experience or understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and principles.Experience in Cloud Computing, specifically Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS.Excellent documentation and communication skills, using ITIL or other industry standards.Compensation and Logistics
