What does a Security and intervention guard do?
- Several rounds of surveillance in the facility
- Monitor and securely detain individuals
- Monitor and control designated areas
- Perform daily and unscheduled searches
- Follow procedures for verifying inmate departures
- Ensure inmate admission
Qualifications to become a Security and intervention guard
- Valid security guard license
- Use of force training (can be done at GardaWorld campus upon hiring)
- Bilingual
- QUEBEC HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA (OR MINISTRY OF EDUCATION EQUIVALENCY) REQUIRED
